Cooper Mills Joins CHILDS as Partner

 

Atlanta, GA., July 8, 2009 - CHILDS Advisory Partners is pleased to announce that Cooper Mills, former Managing Director at SunTrust Robinson-Humphrey, has agreed to join the firm as a Partner. Cooper founded the Business Services Industry Group for Robinson-Humphrey in 1993 and led the group to become the most active underwriter to the staffing industry. Cooper’s industry coverage included Staffing/Search, HR Outsourcing/Recruiting Process Outsourcing, Marketing Services, and Industrial Services. He and his team had responsibility for developing and transacting public and private equity capital raises, private debt placements, merger and acquisition transactions and financial advisory assignments. Cooper also had responsibility for serving private equity groups active in Business Services. Cooper’s group was responsible for raising over $5 billion in capital for services firms such as MPS Group, NCO Group, Comsys, Personnel Group of America, AHL Services and others. Cooper’s group completed over 85 M&A deals including the sales of Source Services to Romac and EmployBridge to private equity firm JW Childs.
