Gores Group acquires GE Healthcare Strategic Sourcing

Los Angeles based Gores Group acquires GE Healthcare Strategic Sourcing.  The Company has been rebranded as Meridian Medical Management and will continue providing EMR and outsourced RCM to physician groups.

Allscripts acquires dbMotion

Bermuda based Genpact Ltd acquires JAWOOD.  JAWOOD is a leading consulting and tech services provider for the healthcare industry.  Genpact, a global leader in BPM and tech services, made this strategic acquisition to aggressively expand their healthcare payer offerings.

Silver Lake Takes Dell Private

Silver Lake to take Dell Private in the largest LBO since 2008

Silver Lake Private Equity has agreed to partner with Michael Dell and take Dell Inc. private via a $24.4 billion leveraged buyout.  The Company says the strategy is to continue expanding software and services offerings for large corporations.  Many analysts are expecting Dell to divest the low-margin PC business.
